From Start-Up to Large-Scale Business with Heat Pumps: LAMBDA Honored by Austria’s Leading Companies for the Third Consecutive Year

On October 13, 2026, Tyrol’s most successful companies were once again honored at the Congresspark Igls as part of Austria’s Leading Companies (ALC). LAMBDA Heat Pumps once again secured second place in the large enterprises category.
Following its awards in 2024 and 2025, LAMBDA has now ranked second for thethird consecutive year. For us, this latest ranking is a testament to the continuous growth of our company and the path we have taken since our founding.
From a Research Project to an Internationally Active Company
What began in 2019 with an idea, a used heat pump, and intensive development work has, within just a few years, evolved into an internationally active heat pump manufacturer.
From the very beginning, founders and managing directors Florian Entleitner and Florian Fuchs pursued a clear goal: to make air-to-water heat pumps more efficient, quieter, and more sustainable.
A key technological component is the patented 3K Process®, which forms the basis for the high efficiency of Eureka heat pumps. With new developments such as the EUREKA Magna EU35L, the LAMBDA Heating Schedule®, and new cascade solutions, the product portfolio has been consistently expanded in recent years.
Strong Growth and International Expansion
LAMBDA has also made significant strides economically: In 2025, the company generated revenue of more than 103 million euros, now employs 164 people across multiple locations, and has delivered approximately 30,000 heat pumps to customers.
In addition to technological advancements, the company is focusing in particular on international expansion and the growth of its sales, service, and regional operations.
Innovation as the Foundation for Sustainable Growth
Receiving this award once again from Austria’s Leading Companies demonstrates to us that technological innovation and sustainable economic growth can go hand in hand.
Ranking second in the “Large Companies” category for three consecutive years is therefore not only an honor for us but, above all, an incentive to continue steadfastly on our path.
